HODL is a misspelled term that became very popular in the Bitcoin Form and later in the cryptocurrency world.
The very first time the term HODL appeared on the Bitcoin talk forum was in 2013 and came from a member named GameKyuubi under the thread “I AM HODLING”.
In simple Words, HODL meaning in the cryptocurrency world is “Holding your Cryptocurrency”, A person who does this is known as a “HODLer” or “HODLER”.
